The small skin around the nails tends to dry out, especially after frequent hand washing, use of cleaning products, or nail polish removal.

Instead of cutting and pulling the dry skin, you can give it a short, softening treatment.

Preparation
  1. Mix the jojoba oil and shea butter in a small bowl.

  2. Wash your hands and dry them gently.

  3. Place a small amount of the mixture around each nail.

  4. Massage in circular motions for about a minute.

  5. Leave the mixture on the skin without rinsing.

What You Need
  • Half a teaspoon of jojoba oil.
  • Half a teaspoon of shea butter.
  • A small hand towel.
How Often?

You can use it every evening before bed.

A Small Tip from Nature

If there is a small piece of peeling skin by the nail, it is best not to pull it. It is better to soften the area and carefully trim only an edge of skin that has already lifted, with a clean tool.

Why Is It Good?

Jojoba oil and shea butter help soften the skin and reduce moisture loss. A gentle massage lets you spread the mixture around the nail without injuring the skin.

Did You Know?

The skin around the base of the nail plays a role in protecting the area from the penetration of contaminants. That is why it is not recommended to remove it aggressively.

I especially love this treatment because it takes only two minutes, yet turns hand care into a small, pleasant habit.
