Appendix — Thoughts Along the Way, the Beginning
This book was born long before it was written.
In 2020–2021 I published a short series of thoughts to my followers on Instagram, and every one of them opened with the same two words: Thoughts along the way.
Here they are, as they were published then.

Thoughts along the way...
Look at your past, make peace with it! Look at it, but only for one more moment, and keep walking forward.

Thoughts along the way….
I told him, let us go to the great blue open sea, where the borders burst open and the world yearns.
I told him, let us live by the sea, where one can embrace longing, send greetings to the distances, and relax when the moment comes.
I told him to take me to the sea, to the place where the waves crash and teach me there that one must never give up.
He told me, come, I will take you to the sea; cross the borders you set for yourself, find the place where the soul yearns and sends love to the world, and keep insisting on everything you believe in, deep in your heart ❤️

Thoughts along the way…
The more comfortable I feel in my own skin, the more I pamper it with proper nourishment that makes me love it back even more. Makeup, for me, is a dirty word! Chemicals, for me, are a disaster! Processed food makes me nauseous! Industrial cities drain precious energy from me! Animals are much nicer creatures than people! When the sun shines, it sends light on all of us, and when it sets, it is dark for all of us! Feelings exist in exactly the same way in every one of us; we all have the choice of which of them to sharpen or to put to sleep! The road is still long for every one of us — in what he will learn, achieve, understand, choose. The easiest thing is to judge and to throw stones! Greatness is to be considerate, to understand, and to internalize! Fear always waits in the corner, together with anxiety and loneliness; sometimes it is nice to curl up in them. The more comfortable I feel in my skin, in my hair, and in my far-from-perfect body, the more I understand that modesty adds me grace, dignity, and honesty.
When you are in that sensitive place where another person's smile reveals to you whether he is a real person or a fake, you are in the right place on your way!

Thoughts along the way — where is faith???
All my life I have loved the sea, but I know deep inside that the sea is cruel and there is no faith in it. Like the sea, so are life. Life can turn over in a second; there is no faith in it, and it can be very cruel. There is no faith, not in the sea and not in life! So where should faith be — in the desert and in the dead? I asked myself, in bewilderment, for in the desert there are dangerous and poisonous animals too, and the dead are a commotion. So where is faith? After all, faith in myself, too, broke several times, when I promised myself I would not, and I did. If there is no faith in myself, and not in life either, surely not in the dead, for they are a commotion, and not in the stormy sea, and not in the desolate deserts — the whole world stands silent, searching for faith.
So I kept asking where faith is, and I entered synagogues, mosques, churches, and monasteries; I traveled in crowded places and in abandoned places, until I met the oldest man of all, sitting alone on a bench at the side of the road… I immediately sat down beside him and asked him: where is faith? He did not look at my face; he looked into the distance and told me that faith does not exist across the width and length of the world, and it does not exist at any point in time either.
He continued, gazing into the wide distances, and said:
It exists inside the human soul. Our faith is in the strongest power of all, that it will come and perform miracles and wonders for us.
I kept asking that old man whether faith is our desire for miracles and wonders. He nodded and said that every person waits for miracles and wonders to happen to him, but they do not understand that every second they are alive, they are miracles and wonders themselves.
I asked again:
So where is faith?
If we ourselves are miracles and wonders, and we yearn for the strongest power of all to perform more miracles and wonders for us?
Faith is exactly there, said the oldest man of all!

…Thoughts along the way
I am a sequence of times passing through me.
I am a sequence of experiences being experienced in me.
I am a sequence of feelings I chose to feel.
I am a sequence of memories remembered in me, and questions being asked in me.
I am a sequence of time with an end and a beginning.
I am inside a point in time, a small unit experiencing on its own flesh, carrying with me hope, prayer, and faith.
Time passes on its way, and in its time it will take me too!
