Nature's Recipes

Not every scrub has to be rough. Sometimes it is actually a gentle mixture of oatmeal and yogurt that can gently remove dead cells, soften the skin, and give it a pleasant, refreshed feeling.

This recipe is especially suited to anyone who prefers a gentler scrub than sugar or salt.

What do you need?

  • 1 tablespoon very finely ground oatmeal
  • 1 tablespoon natural yogurt, without sugar
  • 1 teaspoon honey

How do you prepare it?

Grind the oatmeal into a fine powder and mix with the yogurt and the honey until a uniform paste is obtained.

If the mixture is too thick, add a few drops of water.

How do you use it?

Apply a thin layer to clean, damp facial skin, avoiding the eye area.

Massage gently for 20–30 seconds, without strong rubbing.

Leave on the skin for 3–5 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water.

Finish with moisturizer.

Why these ingredients in particular?

Oatmeal: contains ingredients that help soothe the skin and preserve its moisture. When ground fine, it allows gentle mechanical exfoliation.

Natural yogurt: contains lactic acid in a varying amount, but in a homemade recipe there is no controlled concentration that guarantees significant chemical exfoliation.

Honey: helps preserve moisture and gives the mixture a pleasant texture.

How often?

Once a week, according to the skin's response.

A Small Tip from Nature

If the skin tends to dryness, you can skip the massage and use the mixture as a short moisturizing mask only.

It is recommended to prepare the mixture close to the time of use and not to keep leftovers. Do not apply to broken or irritated skin, and it is advisable to test first on a small area of skin.

The result: skin that feels softer, more pleasant and fresher, with three simple ingredients from the kitchen.
