Our feet carry us all day, but they don't always get the same attention we give our hands and face.
If the skin on your feet is dry and tight, you can prepare a simple overnight treatment that helps keep the moisture in.

Wash the feet in lukewarm water and dry them well, especially between the toes.
Apply the moisturizer to the heels and the feet.
Add a thin layer of shea butter on top.
Put on cotton socks and leave on overnight.
In the morning, remove the socks and wash as needed.
- One teaspoon of rich, fragrance-free moisturizer.
- Half a teaspoon of shea butter.
- A pair of clean cotton socks.
You can do it three to four times a week, or every evening in periods of dryness.
There is no need to apply cream between the toes, especially if the area tends to stay damp.
Why Is It Good?
The moisturizer helps add moisture to the skin, and the shea butter creates a softening layer that reduces its loss.
Did You Know?
Applying cream or ointment to slightly damp skin, close to bathing, can help keep the moisture in for longer.
I love the idea that a good treatment doesn't have to be complicated. A few minutes before bed, a pair of comfortable socks, and the skin gets a chance to soften during the night.
