Nature's Recipes | Body Care

Our hands are in contact with water, soap and cleaning products almost without pause. It is no surprise that sometimes they feel drier than the rest of the body.

A small treatment before bed can give the skin a rich layer of softening and make the morning more pleasant.

Preparation
  1. Place the shea butter in a small bowl.

  2. Add the oil and mix until a soft texture is obtained.

  3. Wash the hands in lukewarm water and pat them dry.

  4. Apply the mixture to the hands, especially on the finger joints and rough areas.

  5. Massage for one minute.

  6. Put on cotton gloves and leave on overnight.

What You Need
  • One teaspoon of natural shea butter.
  • Half a teaspoon of jojoba oil or almond oil.
  • A pair of clean cotton gloves.
How Often?

You can repeat the treatment every evening in periods when the hands are especially dry.

A Small Tip from Nature

If the hands are very dry, you can first apply moisturizer to slightly damp skin, and only then a thin layer of shea butter over it.

This way you combine moisture with a protective layer that helps keep it in.

Why Is It Good?

Shea butter and the plant oils create a softening layer that helps reduce moisture loss. The cotton gloves help keep the mixture on the hands.

Did You Know?

The skin of the hands is exposed to repeated washing far more than other areas of the body. That is why even an excellent cream is not always enough if it is not renewed after washing the hands.

I love treatments that work while we sleep. A few minutes before bed, and in the morning the hands can already feel softer and more pleasant.
