Even a gentle shave can leave behind a feeling of burning, redness or tingling, especially in areas where the skin is sensitive.
Instead of rushing to apply several products one after another, you can start precisely with gentle cooling.

Gently wash the shaved area with lukewarm water.
Dip the cloth in cold water.
Wring it out and place it on the skin for 5–10 minutes.
Remove the cloth and pat dry gently.
Apply a thin layer of fragrance-free moisturizer.
- A clean, soft cotton cloth.
- A bowl of cold water.
- Fragrance-free moisturizer.
Next time, it is worth shaving at the end of the shower, when the hair has already softened in the water, and using a clean blade and a suitable shaving gel.
Why Is It Good?
The cooling may reduce a feeling of burning and temporary discomfort, and the moisturizer helps maintain the skin barrier.
Did You Know?
Redness after shaving is not always a sign of the same problem. Sometimes it is surface irritation, and sometimes ingrown hairs or inflammation of the hair follicles.
A cold compress is suitable mainly for calming mild irritation.
I love the idea that there is no need to overload the skin when it is already irritated. Sometimes a short, gentle treatment is precisely the most pleasant choice.
